BIS Module
The Bispectral Index Module (BIS) provides high-resolution digital data and trends to help monitor consciousness and sedation in the operating room, intensive care and other clinical settings such as outpatient surgery and conscious sedation. Using Covidien's technology, BIS measurements help formulate the type and optimal dose of anesthetic or sedative for each patient.
It is used with IntelliVue patient monitors.
