Philips IntelliVue X3

This is a compact dual-purpose transport monitor with an intuitive smartphone-like algorithm and the ability to expand the set of clinical measurements. The device is designed to monitor and record a number of physiological parameters of adults, children and newborns and generate appropriate alarms. The monitor stores data in trend databases. Trends in the form of a table (physiological indicators) can be viewed on the screen and printed on a printer. You can view graphs of measurement trends, including horizontal trends, to determine the patient's physiological status.

You can connect the X3 to an IntelliVue patient monitor. In this case, it will act as a multi-parameter measurement module, displaying measurements, trend graphs, and patient status information on the main monitor. The measurement capabilities can be expanded by connecting a measurement extension.

 

The X3 device can be used in two ways.

•As a stand-alone patient monitor.

•As a multi-parameter measurement module for the IntelliVue series of patient monitors.

Basic Configuration: ECG, SpO₂ (technology selection: Philips FAST-SpO₂, Nellcor OxiMax SpO₂, Masimo rainbow SET SpO₂), Respiration, NIBP

Optional: 2 invasive pressure measurements, CO₂, second SpO₂ measurement

With IntelliVue expansion modules: Up to 4 types of invasive pressure and 2 types of temperature; Cardiac output (right heart and PiCCO); Covidien Microstream CO₂; CO₂ in the main stream (Respironics) or in the side stream (LoFlo).

Light alarms: In the default configuration, the background of the digital values of the measurement alarms flashes in a color corresponding to the severity of the alarm. When the alarm is acknowledged, the background stops flashing and the numerical value starts.
