Efficia DFM100
Philips is the first company to create a 1-2-3 defibrillator to defibrillate a patient and save lives quickly and easily. The Efficia DFM100's controls, displays, menus and icons have been carefully designed and organized to make them easy to use. Alerts on the display show key information for the current task.
The Efficia DFM100 is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery or AC power.
The Efficia DFM100 is a lightweight, portable defibrillator monitor with a large display. It provides four clinical modes of operation: Monitor, Manual Defibrillation/Synchronized Cardioversion, AED, and Pacing. With the DFM100, you can monitor ECG, NBP, EtCO2, SpO2, and vital signs and view trends in adults, children, and neonates.
In Monitor mode, you can see 3 different ECG waveforms on the display at the same time, depending on the ECG cable you are using. If you are using a 3-lead ECG cable, you can monitor leads I, II, or III. If you are using a 5-lead ECG cable, you can monitor data from leads I, II, III, aVR, aVL, Avf, or V. Additional monitoring of SpO2 (waveform and plethysmogram), EtCO2 (waveform and capnogram), and non-invasive blood pressure can be applied. Measurements and curves are shown on the display. Alarms alert you to changes in the patient's condition. You can also display a trend analysis report of key physiological parameters to view all key parameters and measured values in a concise manner.
Manual Defibrillation mode provides simple 1-2-3 defibrillation. You analyze the patient's ECG and, if necessary: 1) select the energy setting; 2) charge; and 3) deliver the shock. Defibrillation is performed with the help of discharge electrodes (internal or external) or multifunctional adhesive electrodes. In the Manual Defibrillation mode, you can also deliver a synchronized cardioversion.
In the optional AED (Automated External Defibrillation) mode, the Efficia DFM100 analyzes the patient's ECG and determines whether a shock is recommended. Voice prompts guide the patient through the 2-step defibrillation process, and instructions and patient information are clearly displayed on the display, including Adult and Infant/Child patient categories.
