Blood pressure recorder BR-102 plus PWA
SCHILLER Pulse Wave Analysis (PWA): Central hemodynamic assessment and blood pressure measurement in one device
SCHILLER introduces the first device that combines the accuracy of auscultatory and the reliability of oscillometric blood pressure measurement to create a 24-hour profile of stiffness parameters such as pulse wave propagation velocity (PWV), augmentation index, and central and peripheral blood pressure measurements.
Based on the data obtained, the risk of cardiovascular disease can be assessed and severe organic damage can be prevented in a timely manner.
The stand-alone device is perfectly integrated into the process of daily blood pressure monitoring, and no specially trained specialists are required to perform PWA measurements.
The algorithm has been tested in a number of studies, including those involving comparison with the “gold standard” (i.e., invasive blood pressure measurements); for this reason, the algorithm is recommended by ESH/ESC standards for clinical use.
FEATURES
- Simple user interface with color screen
- Measurement at the diastolic level for patient comfort
- Blood pressure profile covering up to 48 hours, not just point measurements (tonometric method)
- Also uses a more reliable auscultatory measurement method
- Fully integrated into a wide range of SCHILLER diagnostic equipment and can be freely connected to SEMA and GIS data management systems
Data analysis is provided by the medilog program DARWIN2.
