International Conference on Anesthesia Patient Safety (ICAPS 2024)

The International Conference on Patient Anaesthesia Safety 2024 (ICAPS 2024) is the first international conference on anaesthesia safety management in the world.

9—11 February 2024.

This conference is jointly organised by the Japanese Society of Anaesthesiologists (JSA), the Anaesthesia Patient Safety Foundation (APSF) and the American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) with the support of the Japan Federation of Anaesthetists (JFA).

The APSF Newsletter is the official publication of the non-profit organisation APSF and is published three times a year in electronic format.

The translation of the Newsletter began in 2017. The pioneer country was Japan. Since then, the APSF Newsletter has been translated into 6 more languages: Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic and Russian.

To celebrate this five-year success, APSF proposed a global collaborative symposium on patient safety, and this historic first meeting took place in February 2024.
